MY GARDEN AREAS......

I CHANGED UP THE GARDEN BEDS IN FRONT
OF OUR HOUSE THIS YEAR.  MOSTLY GARDEN
ART, OLD WATER CANS AND OLD RUSTY THINGS.  THEY
MAKE MY HEART HAPPY.  A FEW POTS OF FLOWERS
FOR COLOR.  SIMPLE AND EASY FOR ME TO
CARE FOR.  THE LOG CABIN ON THE PORCH POST
AND HANGING ON THE END OF A FENCE ARE
NEWLY MADE BY A COUPLE OUT OF OHIO,
KEVIN AND BONNIE GALLAWAY.  MY FRIENDS
MAREE AND BILL HELPED ME GET THE ONE
ON THE POST AND IN THE GROUND.  I SALVAGED
THE OLD POST FROM MY NEIGHBORS BURN
PILE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, HOPING
TO HAVE A BIRDHOUSE ON IT AT SOME POINT.
I’M SO GLAD TO SEE IT COME TO FRUITION!
SIMPLE SUMMER PLEASURES.

UNTIL NEXT TIME......LORI

It's beautiful Lori! Lots of work getting it done but I know it makes you smile each time you look at it. Enjoy it often ❤️

I do my friend! And thank you again for bringing the tobacco fencing to me! I was determined to get some of it up this year!

Absolutely beautiful Lori!! I have incorporated a lot of the same "garden art" scattered around my landscaping ....as you said, it makes my heart happy. But I am seriously jealous of your bird houses!! I zoomed in on those immediately LOL. Curious as to how you attached the birdhouse to the post?? Enjoy this spell of beautiful weather...before it gets nasty hot...and then downright chilly again LOL. ~Robin~

Thank you, Cathy!

Robin,
I know, isn’t this weather something! Up and down! The birdhouse on the post came with a predrilled piece of wood for a little platform to attach to the post and then drill into the bottom of the birdhouse. My friend Bill did it for me or I would still be out there trying to do it! lol Also since I just wanted them for garden decor and so hornets couldn’t build nests in them, there are no openings in the log cabins. They are heavy with the chinking but I just love them! They are made to order so you can request how you want them, open or not, Mine are protected somewhat under the eves.
