ADDITION AND BRIAN UPDATE....

I'M SORRY I'M SO OVERDUE ON AN UPDATE!
LIFE IS SO BUSY EVERY DAY ANYMORE.
I WANTED TO SHARE SOME PICTURES OF
THE NEW BATHROOM ADDITION FOR BRIAN.
WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE OUR CONTRACTOR,
MARK. HE HAS WORKED HARD TO GET
THIS DONE FOR US, KNOWING HOW MUCH
WE NEED IT DONE. WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED
WITH A MILD WINTER COMPARED TO WHAT
WE CAN GET AND THAT HAS HELPED THINGS
TO MOVE ALONG. I'M SO THANKFUL WE DIDN'T
HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SPRING TO START THIS.
FOR US SPRING IS MORE LIKE MAY!

I PICKED A RED SIDING THAT LOOKS GOOD
WITH THE BRICK ON THE HOUSE AND ALSO
GOES WELL WITH THE BOARDS UP HIGH ON
THE END OF THE HOUSE.

ONE SMALLER WINDOW IN THE BACK
SO WE HAVE PRIVACY FROM THE ROAD.
WE GOT A PELLA AND IT HAS BLINDS
IN BETWEEN THE GLASS.

INSULATION IS DONE.

MARK WORKING HARD GETTING THE DRYWALL
READY TO PRIME AND PAINT.

(BEDROOM)
THIS PAST SATURDAY OUR DEAR FRIENDS
MIKE AND CARYN PAINTED NOT JUST THE NEW
BATHROOM BUT ALSO BRIAN'S BEDROOM!
THEY GIFTED THIS TO US AND WE ARE SO
VERY THANKFUL FOR THEIR HARD WORK
AND GENEROSITY. THERE WERE
CORNER WINDOWS IN THE BEDROOM
AND ONE WAS REMOVED TO MAKE THE WALL
FOR THE BATHROOM. I LOVE MY BROWN WALLS
FOR WHAT I USED TO HAVE IN THERE BUT
NOW WITH ONLY ONE WINDOW IT WAS LIKE
A CAVE AND I WANTED IT TO BE MORE LIGHT
AND CHEERFUL FOR BRIAN. SO WE WENT WITH
A LIGHTER BEIGE IN THE BATHROOM AND
ONE CALLED LATTE WHICH WAS A LITTLE DARKER
BUT IN THE SAME FAMILY FOR THE BEDROOM.
IT BRIGHTENED IT UP CONSIDERABLY!
NOW WE ARE TO THE FUNNER PARTS, IT'S
EXCITING TO SEE!  ZOE TENTATIVELY CHECKED
OUT THE BATHROOM YESTERDAY AND I THINK
SHE LIKES IT!

 (BEDROOM)

AS FOR BRIAN, HE IS DOING REALLY WELL!
WE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REMEMBERING US
AND ANY PRAYERS GOING UP FOR US.  THE LORD
HAS BLESSED US BEYOND ANYTHING WE COULD
HOPE FOR.  HE TRULY KNOWS OUR EVERY NEED
BEFORE WE DO AND WE CONTINUE TO GIVE
EVERYTHING OVER TO HIM AND PRAISE HIM.

I SNAPPED THIS PIC ABOVE TODAY.  BRIAN WAS
DOING SOME WORK ON HIS COMPUTER AND
ZOE......WELL, SHE WAS GETTING HER MORNING
NAP IN!  BRIAN WORKS FOR A COMPUTER
COMPANY AND IS DOING SOME WORK
REMOTELY FROM HOME FOR NOW BUT
THE PLAN IS TO GET HIM AS INDEPENDENT
AS POSSIBLE AND HE WILL BE DRIVING THE
45 MILES TO THE OFFICE A FEW TIMES A WEEK
ONCE HE GETS HIS POWER WHEELCHAIR.
WE HAD A DELAY ON THAT BUT HOPEFULLY
IT WILL BE HERE IN A FEW WEEKS OR LESS.
BRIAN HAS DRIVEN THE USED VAN WE WERE
BLESSED TO FIND A COUPLE OF TIMES.
IT'S SET UP WITH AN ELECTRIC RAMP AND
HAND CONTROLS ALREADY.  HE DID REALLY
WELL WITH IT!  WE WILL HAVE MANY
CHALLENGES BUT WE TAKE ONE DAY AT
A TIME AND EVERY DAY I GET UP I
PRAISE THE LORD AND THANK HIM
FOR ANOTHER DAY WITH MY BELOVED.

WISHING ALL BELATED EASTER BLESSINGS.
UNTIL NEXT TIME.....LORI

The new addition and changes look wonderful and so wonderful to have friends to help with the work and cutting down costs. You are both in my prayers daily and your faith, even in the toughest of times, is inspirational.

What blessings coming your way. I know it is a common occurrence, but I never tire of seeing how God takes care of people. Pretty amazing.
