MERRY CHRISTMAS.....

WE HOPE EACH ONE OF YOU HAD A
BLESSED CHRISTMAS.  WE HAD A NICE
QUIET DAY WITH JUST THE THREE OF US.
ZOE AND BRIAN SNUGGLED ON THE
NEW RECLINER LIFT CHAIR THAT WAS
DELIVERED LAST WEEK.  BRIAN IS
GETTING BETTER AND BETTER AT
TRANSFERS FROM HIS WHEELCHAIR.
I JUST SORT OF "SPOT" HIM WHILE HE
SLIDES ON THE TRANSFER BOARD.  I BROUGHT
HIM HOME OVER TWO WEEKS AGO
AND WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO BE HOME
TOGETHER FOR CHRISTMAS.

HIS PT AND OT COME TO THE HOUSE
AS WELL AS A HOME HEALTH CARE
NURSE.  THE WEATHER HAS TURNED
BITTER COLD SO WE ARE THANKFUL
TO BE ABLE TO STAY AT HOME TO TEND
TO HIS NEEDS FOR NOW.  THERE IS
A LOT TO DO AND REMEMBER BUT EACH
DAY WE ARE GETTING BETTER AT
GETTING IT ALL IN.  WE ARE THINKING
OF ADDING A BATHROOM OFF OF THE
BEDROOM BRIAN IS IN SO ALL OF
HIS NEEDS WILL BE IN ONE AREA.
WE GOT HIM A NICE SOLID FULL SIZE
HOSPITAL BED FOR THE BEDROOM AND
A TRAPEZE THAT IS WORKING OUT WELL.

WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR
ALL OF THE PRAYERS.  WE ARE SO TOUCHED
AND THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING US.
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE LORD
HAS PLANNED BUT WE WILL TRY OUR
BEST TO SERVE HIM AND ENJOY OUR
LIFE TOGETHER.

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS FROM OUR
HOME TO YOURS......BRIAN, LORI & ZOE

Glad the family is back together at home, at last. My step-father had a stroke and had to transfer from the chair to sofa. And mother and he had home nurses come in once a week as well. That helped mother a lot. Merry Christmas and keep up the good spirit...both of you.

It's so good to see Brian and little Zoe exchanging those adoring looks! I am glad to hear that things are working good and Brian continues to regain strength! Your faith in the Lord and strong commitment to each other is a true testament to the powers we can tap into as mere humans. What a blessing to be able to stay home in this bitter cold... walked out to our mailbox this a.m. and the cold just pierced my lungs with each breath! We are thankful for our wood burning stove!
Sending wishes for a Happy New Years and as always prayers for continued progress there!
Hugs!!!

Good to hear that Brian is doing well with his recovery and you are able to get the equipment he needs to help with his recovery. Blessings to you both.
