MADE IT TO REHAB!

BRIAN WAS MOVED TO ACUTE REHAB IN WAUSAU, WI ON TUESDAY.  WE LIKE THE FACILITY AND STAFF.  I THINK IT WILL BE A VERY BENEFICIAL TIME FOR BOTH OF US.  I CAME HOME YESTERDAY TO START GETTING THINGS GOING AT HOME.  A TENTATIVE DATE FOR RELEASE FROM REHAB IS DECEMBER 15th.  WE MAY NOT HAVE EVERYTHING IN PLACE AT THE HOUSE BUT WE WILL FIGURE IT OUT AS WE GO ALONG.  I AM GOING TO PICK UP OUR LITTLE ZOE GIRL TODAY.  WE DROPPED HER OFF AT THE KENNEL 36 DAYS AGO.  I HAVE TO DRIVE ALMOST AN HOUR TO GET HER.  IT’S AN HOUR IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OR I WOULD HAVE PICKED HER UP ON THE WAY HOME YESTERDAY.  SHE AND I WILL BE GOING BACK TO WAUSAU NEXT WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.  THEY DO ALLOW PETS THERE SO I CAN BRING HER INTO THE REHAB AND I HAVE A PET FRIENDLY MOTEL BOOKED FOR US ALREADY.  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES.  WE FINALLY SEE A LIGHT AT THE END OF THIS  VERY LONG TUNNEL.  WE KNOW THERE WILL BE A LOT OF ADJUSTMNETS ALONG THE WAY BUT WE WILL CONTINUE TO RELY ON THE LORD FOR HIS STRENGTH AND COURAGE TO FORGE AHEAD.  THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WE THREE WILL BE TOGETHER.  HOW THANKFUL WE ARE.

I WAS ABLE TO STITCH SOME NEW DESIGNS I HAD BROUGHT ALONG FOR WHEN BRIAN WAS RECOVERING IN THE HOSPITAL AND I’LL BE WORKING ON GETTING THEM TOGETHER AND RELEASED IN A WEEK OR TWO.  I HAVE FIVE NEW CROSS STITCH PATTERNS AND POSSIBLY A NEW PUNCH NEEDLE PATTERN.

THANKSGIVING BLESSINGS TO ALL, LORI

So HAPPY to know that Brian is in rehab, and that the three of you can be together again! I'm sure Zoe is wondering just what has happened to her family! Continued prayers for your family my sweet friend, and please keep your stitching close by to help you heal as well ~ looking forward to the new designs as always.

It is so good for you to keep stitching...good for the soul! Hope Brian continues to heal and grow stronger. We continue to hold you both in our thoughts...and our prayers.

I'm glad you can all be together. Animals are great therapy(for both of you) and even better if they are your own pets. I look forward to seeing your new designs. I just finished Christmastide and love it. Cyber hugs and prayers to you and if you feel alone try to think of all of us who wish we could be there with you physically but are with you spiritually. God bless the road you are traveling.

Great news to my ears. I'm sure seeing Zoe and you will boost his spirits and increase his recovery. After all, four legged fur babies are family too.

PTL! What a relief to being well on his way to healing and comfort. So happy that Zoe will be able to be a part of it all...and will probably help the healing be quicker! :-) Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
