GETTING THERE.....

EVERY DAY BRIAN IS A LITTLE BIT STRONGER.  HE HAS MANY MONTHS OF RECOVERING FROM THE SURGERY ITSELF BUT EACH DAY IS A BLESSING.  HIS SURGERY WAS 4 WEEKS AGO YESTERDAY.  HOW FAR HE HAS COME.  THEY SAY HE CAN GO TO ACUTE REHAB ON TUESDAY.  WE ARE BOTH OVERJOYED AT THIS AND LOOK FORWARD TO BEING HALF THE DISTANCE FROM HOME THAN WE ARE DOWN HERE.  PLUS IT’S ENCOURAGING TO GET TO THE NEXT STEP ON THIS JOURNEY.  I’M HOPING I CAN GET OUR LITTLE ZOE NEXT WEEK BUT HAVE TO SEE AFTER WE GET TO REHAB AND KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT ALL THAT ENTAILS.  WE WON’T KNOW UNTIL THEY ASSESS JUST HOW LONG BRIAN WILL BE THERE.  I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT NEEDS ADJUSTING AT THE HOUSE AND TRY TO GET STARTED ON THAT SO I’LL BE GOING BACK AND FORTH.  WE HAVE NO FAMILY CLOSE SO WILL RELY ON OUR DEAR FRIENDS WHEN WE NEED TO.  MANY HAVE OFFERED TO HELP.  WE THANK EACH ONE FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES.  WE PRAY THE LORD CAN USE THIS TRIAL IN OUR LIVES FOR HIS GLORY.  HE IS EVER FAITHFUL AND OUR HEARTS OVERFLOW WITH JOY AND THANKSGIVING.  LOVE AND BLESSINGS, LORI

God IS GOOD, and He WILL continue to lead you along!! So happy to hear Brian keeps improving and that you will be closer to home!!! Such good news and great progress with Brian's recovery. I'm sure Zoe will be happy to see you but think she is being well cared for at the kennel. Even half the distance away from home will be quite a relief I'm sure. God Bless you all. Lucky you to have such kind and helpful friends.

Hi Lori and Brian,
I'm so happy to hear of the progress you are making Brian! It doesn't seem possible that four weeks have gone by! I hope being closer to home will be easier and things keep moving forward! Your friends that will be there when you get home are truly a blessing!
Hope to talk to you soon Lori!!
Much love, continued prayers and big hugs!!
Cathy
