HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A WONDERFUL
WEEKEND! WE WENT TO SOME FIREWORKS
LAST NIGHT IN LAND O' LAKES, WI.
THEY ARE ALWAYS SO GOOD THERE.
IT'S ABOUT A 40 MINUTE DRIVE BUT
WELL WORTH IT.
TODAY WE ARE HAVING FRIENDS OVER
AND GRILLING STEAKS.
WE'LL BE HAND CRANKING SOME
HOMEMADE ICE CREAM TOO!

ONE OF THE CHANGES WE MADE TO THE
HOUSE THIS SUMMER WAS TO PUT IN
AIR CONDITIONING. THEN WE HAD TWO
CEDAR FENCES BUILT. ONE FOR AROUND
THE A/C UNIT OUTSIDE AND THE OTHER
WAS THE ONE IN THE PIC ABOVE TO REPLACE MY
LITTLE RICKETY ONE UNDER THE KITCHEN WINDOW.
IT WASN'T HOLDING UP VERY WELL.
I'M LETTING THESE NEW FENCES WEATHER
WITH AGE.  THEY'LL LOOK BETTER WHEN
THEY ARE GREY! BUT FOR NOW THEY ARE
FUN TO ATTACH THINGS TO AND ARE SO
NICE AND STURDY.

GOD BLESS AMERICA, LAND OF THE FREE,
HOME OF THE BRAVE.

Looks great! I could not survive without AC. The older I get the harder summer is on me.
Happy Fourth!
