JUDY'S HOUSE

LOTS OF HOME IMPROVEMENTS GOING ON
AROUND HERE!  YESTERDAY BRIAN TOOK THE
DAY OFF TO BE HERE FOR OUR NEW PICTURE
WINDOWS TO BE INSTALLED. ZOE AND I WENT
ON A LITTLE ROAD TRIP TO STAY OUT OF
THE WAY. I WENT 90 MILES TO SHOP A LITTLE
AND I DROPPED IN ON MY FRIEND JUDY.
SHE KINDLY LET ME SNAP A FEW PICS
TO SHARE. YOU CAN CLICK ON THEM TO
ENLARGE AND SEE BETTER.

ABOVE IS A STACK OF ANTIQUE MEASURES,
ANTIQUE CANDLE MOLD AND TWO ANTIQUE SHEEP.

I ALWAYS LOVE JUDY'S WALL OF GAMEBOARDS
IN THE LIVING ROOM.
SHE HAS BEEN WEEDING OUT A LITTLE
OF HER TREASURES HERE
AND THERE. JUDY HAS A GOOD EYE FOR
PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER AND I ALWAYS
COME AWAY INSPIRED!

THE LITTLE SHELF ABOVE IS BELOW THE
KITCHEN CUPBOARD OVER THE SINK.
JUDY HAS A NICE DISPLAY OF TREEN HERE.
SHE CHANGED OUT THE PEWTER FOR A
DIFFERENT LOOK. I LOVE IT!

JUDY SIMPLIFIED HER WALL OF
SAMPLERS IN THE HALLWAY TO JUST FOUR.
ON THE BENCH SHE HAS MORE STACKS OF
ANTIQUE PANTRY BOXES AND MEASURES.

LOVE THIS CUPBOARD WITH BUCKETS
AND OTHER GOODIES! AND THE YARN WINDER
NEXT TO IT.

ANOTHER STACK OF ANTIQUE MEASURES
IN A GUEST BEDROOM.

A SWEET GATHERING.

JUDY HAS BEEN COLLECTING SOME NICE ANTIQUE
HOG SCRAPER CANDLESTICKS. SHE HAS
THEM DISPLAYED AROUND THE HOUSE WITH
OTHER ANTIQUES. LIKE I SAID....SHE HAS A GOOD EYE!

ABOVE AND BELOW...MORE STACKS OF
ANTIQUE PANTRY'S AND MEASURES.
ANOTHER GREAT YARN WINDER TOO!

JUDY AND HER HUBBY MADE THIS
DARLING LITTLE SITTING AREA OF THEIR
BACK DECK BY MAKING A CORNER FROM SOME
FENCING SHE USED TO HAVE ALONG THE FRONT
OF THE HOUSE AND THEN PLACING SOME OF HER
OLD TREASURES AND PLANTS FOR A COZY LOOK.

SHE RECENTLY PAINTED HER OLDER SHED TO
SPRUCE IT UP AND HELP IT MATCH A NEWER ONE
THEY PUT UP NEXT TO THIS SMALLER ONE
SHE CALLED THE POTTING SHED.
JUDY HAS SO MANY NEAT OLD RUSTY
TREASURES TO LOOK AT. I LOVE LOOKING
AT HER OUTDOOR DISPLAYS TO GET IDEAS.
I'M NOT AS GOOD AT OUTSIDE AS SHE IS!
OF COURSE SHE'S BEEN COLLECTING RUSTY
THINGS FOR YEARS FOR THAT NEAT LOOK.

JUDY'S HUBBY MADE A NEW DOOR
OUT OF OLD WOOD. SHE RECENTLY FOUND PART
OF AN OLD LADDER TO LEAN AGAINST THE
SHED. THE KEG AND SAW ABOVE THE DOOR
ARE KEEPSAKES FROM JUDY'S GRANDFATHER.

ABOVE IS THE FRONT PORCH THEY BUILT
A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO OR SO. THEY PAINTED
THE FLOOR THIS SUMMER A WONDERFUL RED THAT
IS DARKER THAT IT IS SHOWING.
LOVE THE OLD WINDSOR CHAIR.

THIS GARDEN BED IS IN THE CENTER OF THE FRONT
YARD AND JUDY HAS SOME BEAUTIFUL
FLOWERS AND MORE FUN DISPLAYS OF FOUND
RUSTY METAL AND WOOD ITEMS.

ABOVE IS A CLOSER VIEW.

TO THE SIDE OF THE CENTER GARDEN SHE HAS THIS
SMALLER ONE. LOVE HER GARDENS!!

SOON I'LL TRY TO TAKE SOME PICS OF
THE PROJECTS WE'VE BEEN DOING THIS SUMMER.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
UNTIL NEXT TIME.....LORI

Oh my goodness Lori!!
I felt like I just looked thru the pages of one of Judy Condon's books! You did such a fantastic job taking pictures of your friend Judy's home!! Her home reminds me so much of yours, warm, inviting, and wonderful!! Not only inside but outside as well!! Please thank her for allowing us a glimpse and tell her she really needs to be in a magazine or book!! Truly inspirational!!
Hope all your home improvements went well too!! Looking forward to seeing the results!
Thanks so much for sharing, dear friend, and have a lovely week!
