A LITTLE MAT

HERE'S A LITTLE HOOKED MAT I WHIPPED UP
YESTERDAY TO COVER OUR LAND LINE PHONE JACK.
I HAD A SAMPLER COVERING IT BUT WANTED A LITTLE
DIFFERENT LOOK.  I HAD SEEN ONE SIMILAR WITH
1887 ON IT IN A PIC OF A HOME BUT CAN'T REMEMBER
WHERE NOW.  ANYWAY, I WANTED SOMETHING
SIMPLE AND SMALL SO THIS FIT THE BILL.
IT MEASURES JUST SHORT OF 8" X 9" AND
IS THE YEAR WE MOVED INTO THIS HOUSE
MINUS A HUNDRED YEARS.
THE COLORS ARE BLACK, BROWN AND A
NEUTRAL BACKGROUND PLAID WITH A BIT
OF A GREEN HUE TO IT.

SUNNY BUT COLD HERE.  SUPPOSED TO BE IN
THE HIGH TWENTIES TODAY BUT -2 TONIGHT.
FORTIES BY NEXT WEEKEND THO SO THAT WILL
TAKE THE SNOW DOWN.  SPRING IS
GETTING CLOSER BUT I AM STILL ENJOYING
WINTER. WISHING YOU ALL A WONDERFUL DAY.

UNTIL NEXT TIME....LORI

Sweet little mat.
We woke to a bit of snow today that has since been washed away by rain, but it is cold, damp and dreary here today. I am so ready for spring!
Hugs :)

Clever little mat to cover up that jack. Subtracting the 100 was a great way to acknowledge the special year in a different way.

Enjoy this last little bit of winter in the spring! Lovely little blooms will be there soon. Jo
