RUG PROGRESS

I'M A THIRD OF THE WAY DONE WITH
MY HORSE, BIRDS AND TREE RUG.
I'M REALLY ENJOYING HOOKING THIS ONE.
THE BROWN WILL MAKE MORE SENSE AS I
GET MORE HOOKED. SO FAR I THINK IT'S
COMING OUT AS I HAD ENVISIONED.

THANK YOU FOR THE ANNIVERSARY
WISHES. WE TOOK OFF EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING FOR A LITTLE OVERNIGHT
TRIP INTO WISCONSIN TO CELEBRATE. WE GOT
BACK ABOUT 6 PM LAST NIGHT.
I WAS ABLE TO DO A LITTLE ANTIQUING
AND FOUND A WONDERFUL CIRCA 1830
 LADDERBACK ROCKING CHAIR IN
ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION. I LOVE IT!
I'LL SHARE PICS OF IT SOME TIME THIS
WEEK. FOR NOW, IT'S BACK TO RUG
HOOKING FOR ME!

UNTIL NEXT TIME....LORI

Wisconsin? Did you visit my absolute favorite quilt shops again, too?!?!?!?! lol! Your rug is looking gorgeous... looks to be a real handsome stallion! :-) I think you've given me color inspiration for a rug I'm about to start...

Thank you everyone! I noticed when I posted the pic that one of the horses legs looks curved and it's bugging me so I think I'll be fixing that.

Sharon,
No, there wasn't time this trip but Kathy and I are heading down there this spring for the day and will stop at Primitive Gatherings for sure then. Lori

What a beautiful rug...I'm so 'hooked' on rug hooking - cliche I know but it's so true.
No matter what I'm doing for projects I always want to leave that and go to my hooking.
I'm slow at it but love it.
Blessings,
Karen
