RUGS FOR BED STEPS

WELL FINALLY I HAVE FINISHED THE
RUGS FOR ZOE'S BED STEPS!!
IT TOOK ME A WHILE IN BETWEEN
OTHER THINGS TO GET THEM DONE. I
JUST HAD THE TOP ONE TO DO AND
WAS DETERMINED TO GET IT DONE THIS WEEKEND
SO I DREW IT UP ON SATURDAY AND STEAMED
IT BEFORE BED LAST NIGHT!

THE ZOE RUG ON THE TOP WAS ADAPTED FROM
A PATTERN BY PAT CROSS IN HER BOOK
SIMPLY PRIMITIVE. I WAS THINKING I WOULD
DO A HOUSE TO KEEP THE THEME IN OUR BEDROOM
GOING BUT JUST COULDN'T QUITE FIGURE OUT
WHAT ALL TO PUT ON IT. THEN I LOOKED THRU
MY RUG HOOKING BOOKS FOR SOME INSPIRATION
AND PAT'S PATTERN JUST SEEMED THE PERFECT FIT
FOR WHAT I WANTED TO DO.

AND HERE IS MISS ZOE, QUEEN OF HER
BED STEPS! NOW I'D LIKE TO HOOK THE
HORSE RUG FOR THE FLOOR NEXT
TO THE BED STEPS. I SHOWED A GLIMPSE
OF IT DRAWN ON LINEN IN A PREVIOUS POST.

I KNOW SOME OF YOU HAVE HAD SPRING LIKE
DAYS ALREADY BUT WE ARE STILL HAVING WINTER.
ALTHOUGH IT'S BEEN A MILD ONE THIS YEAR.
WE ARE GETTING SNOW TODAY AND TOMORROW
OFF AND ON. IT'S SO PRETTY COMING DOWN
GENTLY. I LOVE TO TAKE A WALK WHEN IT'S LIKE THAT.

WISHING EVERYONE A MOST BEAUTIFUL DAY.
UNTIL NEXT TIME.....LORI

Did you know you have word verification turned on? :( It's REALLY hard to read now that they changed it. I made a post last week on how to remove it.

Now, THAT is what I call royalty fit for royalty!! Your Miss Zoe is just the cutest little but in any rug - and her steps - and your incredible accoutrements are just amazing!! I LOVE it! Gee, almost makes me wish my kittehs needed bed steps! ;o) Nah....scratch that - I'd never get them done.....That white stuff isn't looking so pretty to me. We're supposed to get 10-15" I hear starting tomorrow night. Argh. Hope your week is off to a wonderful start....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

What a wonderful idea to dress up those little stairs for Zoe - really prims them up and your hooking of course is always beautiful to look at. We are getting a major winter storm starting tonight - I'm looking forward to it very much -it's our first one this winter.
