GOOD TUESDAY MORNING....

I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL
WEEKEND. WE DID! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE
WARMER TODAY, OVER 80 SO I HAD BETTER GET
BUSY AND GET MY CHORES DONE EARLY.

THE OLD APPLE TREE IN OUR YARD IS
FULL OF BEAUTIFUL BLOSSOMS RIGHT NOW.
I'M NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF APPLES THEY ARE
BUT THEY ARE TART AND MAKE GREAT PIES.
THAT'S OUR OLD SHED YOU CAN SEE IN
THE BACKGROUND.

SEE BIG OLE MR. BUMBLE BEE? OH, THE
BLOSSOMS SMELL SO GOOD TOO!

HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY.
UNTIL NEXT TIME......LORI

Before we moved back to the city we lived in the Indiana countryside for 18 years, the apple blossoms are one thing I really miss. I would cut them by the armful and always have them on the table when they were in bloom. We had scores of wild roses too, not only did I pick the simple yet pretty roses but harvested the rose hips in the late fall. Thanks so much for sharing your pretty apple tree this morning!
Blessings!

Lovely blossoms. We used to have a flowering crabapple (it was supposed to flower but not fruit). I loved the smell of the blossoms, but I always got stuck picking up the rotted fruit that fell on the ground. My brother had to cut the grass, and my sister was allergic to bees. So I was the one that got stung. Lucky me?!? But ahhhh, the blooms... Glad you're enjoying yours!!!

Beautiful photos, Lori - your dolls in the cradle are so, so, sweet! And I can almost smell the apple blossoms! Our crab flowered beautifully the last two days - today, however, the gale force winds are back and pretty much put an end to the blossoms. So, I'm enjoying yours! Have a great week! Hurrah for the warmer weather! The wind here today is horrific so I hope you aren't experiencing that! Your apple blossoms are gorgeous and such a pretty red shed in the background! It would match our house!
Love the dolls and pinkeep Lori!
Enjoy this start to Spring!

I love your apple tree! I'm trying to talk hubby into planting a couple of apples at our new home. The blossoms, the fruit, but mostly, the gnarled look of an apple is so special! Your shed is awesome too!

They are heavenly! I have a flowering crab, but it doesn't drop the fruits, that was the only way my hubby would let me have one! Love all the blooms about to happen!
I like your dollies too!
Have a good night.

Lori,
Beautiful spring pics. Love that red shed. The apple blossoms are so pretty this time of year. Won't be long you'll be picking apples for cooking. I love apple fruit desserts of any kind.
Thanks for sharing.
