BACK TO RUG HOOKING

SEEMS LIKE I PUT ALL MY RUG HOOKING EQUIPMENT AWAY AND
VACUUM UP THE WOOL DUST AND BEFORE
LONG I'M ITCHING TO HOOK AGAIN
SO OUT IT ALL COMES!
THIS IS A RUG I'VE STARTED HOOKING THIS WEEK.
IT WAS INSPIRED BY MAGGIE BONANOMI FROM
HER BOOK WITH THESE HANDS.

I USED MAGGIE'S DESIGNS FOR INSPIRATION BUT DREW MY RUNNER
OUT FREEHAND AND CHANGED IT UP SO IT
WON'T LOOK EXACTLY LIKE HERS.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS BOOK I HIGHLY
RECOMMEND IT. HER WORKS ARE SO SPECIAL.
WE NEED RAIN HERE BADLY. OUR SNOW LEFT EARLY AND
IT'S VERY DRY. THERE IS A BURNING BAN TO TRY TO PREVENT ANY FIRES. IT'S ALWAYS
DRIEST AFTER THE SNOW LEAVES BUT
SINCE IT LEFT EARLY THIS YEAR IT'S
BEEN ESPECIALLY SO.
WISHING ALL A LOVELY APRIL 1ST AND THAT'S NO FOOLING!! LORI

It looks wonderful Lori. I finally got my frame, so hopefully I'll have a rug finish soon. Looks at yours is really an inspiration.

I keep seeing several projects made using Maggie's book - I have a copy buried around here somewhere, but haven't been able to put my hands on it for MONTHS! Driving me crazy! LOL Your rug is going to be spectacular!

Your rug is beautiful Lori! That orange birdie is making me smile! "With These Hands" is a must have book for all stitchers and hookers. Us folks here on the East coast would sure LOVE to send you some rain! LOL!

Your runner is going to be beautiful when it is finished. With the quickness that you work at, I'm guessing you'll probably finish it over the weekend. =]

Have a wonderful Easter weekend~
