RUG AND SAMPLER

I'VE BEEN WANTING TO HOOK THIS RUG FOR SOME TIME. IT WILL GO ON THE WALL IN OUR HALLWAY.
THE DESIGN IS BY MY VERY GOOD FRIEND MARIA BARTON OF STAR RUG COMPANY AND IS CALLED OLD THYME HOUSE.
I'M USING SEVERAL DIFFERENT SIZED CUTS ON THIS ONE FROM 8-9.5. THE BACKGROUND ARE ALL SIZE CUTS OF NEUTRALS LEFT OVER FROM OTHER PROJECTS. I LIKE THE EB AND FLOW OF THE SHADING.
I'VE BEEN STITCHING ON MY BAND SAMPLER AND HAVE COMPLETED HALF OF THE PATTERN. AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A HOUSE ON MY SAMPLER AS WELL AS THE RUG. I LOVE HOUSES! I LOVE THEM IN MY QUILTS TOO. THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY AND PLEASE CHECK BACK AGAIN FOR MORE PROGRESS ON MY PROJECTS. LORI

WOW! You must not sleep with all you are accomplishing. Both the hooking and cross stitch are beautiful.

I just found your blog and I'm so happy that I did. I just love your rug. I'm starting classes next week and I'm so excited to learn. And I love your stitched piece too. I've got this pattern and I think that I definitely need to start it after seeing yours.

Ok girl, you just pushed me over the fence! Lol! I've been debating about starting up rug hooking and seeing all your lovely rugs is really making me want to jump right in! I'm gonna have to research this some more. I've been thinking about it this past year. I am loving everything you are whipping out! Especially this house rug, I'm a house lover too!

Your sampler is coming along very nicely! Thank you for sharing your projects and being such a wonderful inspiration to me! =]
