FINISHED RUG

IT'S MONDAY AND AS I HAD HOPED THE HEART AND BIRD RUG IS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR BROWN AND BLUE GUEST ROOM! IT TOOK ME ABOUT FIVE GOOD DAYS FROM START TO FINISH. THE RUG MEASURES 22" X 26". I THINK IT'S A NICE ADDITION TO THE BEDROOM. THAT CARPETING IS GOING THIS SUMMER HOPEFULLY. BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE CARPETING 25 YEARS OLD AND I CAN'T STAND THEM ANY LONGER! HAVE A GREAT MONDAY EVERYONE! Lori, I LOVE it! I love the one on the wall too. That is a wonderful saying. Thank you for posting pictures of your brown and blue bedroom. I've been trying to decide what colors to use in my bedroom. I know I want brown, just trying to find a couple of accent colors to go with it. I love the blue and brown, they work well together and definitely has a colonial feel to it. Wonderful job on the rug, it looks lovely right where it is!

Part of me cringed to see this beautiful piece on the floor, but it is a rug after all! :D
It's been fun to watch the progress of this! I am a fan of browns and blues too.

Don't worry Beth, we don't wear shoes in our house so it won't get soiled! I have several rugs on the floors. Lori

That is just beautiful, Lori! I can see it fitting perfectly in your guest room! I am anxious to start on mine! I am going to hang mine in the living room. I,too, would be afraid to put it on the floor. My husband is not so good at removing the shoes!

Lori,
I enjoy the rabbit w/carrot I purchased from you--it will be time for him to come out for the spring soon. I have a blog now notesfromthequiltlab.blogspot.com
which discusses little quilts made from antique fabric, antique textiles and collecting. Check it out.
