PRIMITIVE STAR QUILT TOP

THIS IS A QUILT TOP I'VE HAD DONE FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND I AM DETERMINED THAT THIS IS THE WINTER I AM GOING TO HAND QUILT IT!!
THE PATTERN IS BY LINDA BRANNOCK AND FOUND IN HER BOOK MISS JUMP'S QUILT ABLUM. LINDA IS ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE QUILT DESIGNERS.
I REMEMBER SEEING THE SET IN SQUARE FABRICS IN THE GREY/BLUES AT A QUILT SHOP I FREQUENT AND BEING SO DRAWN TO THEM BUT JUST NOT SURE WHAT I'D USE THEM IN. THEN ONE DAY I WAS LOOKING AT MY BOOKS AND PATTERNS AND IT JUST CLICKED THAT THIS WAS THE QUILT I SHOULD USE THEM IN. BY THIS TIME THE FABRIC WAS ON CLEARANCE SO FOR ONCE MY TIMING WAS PERFECT!! LOL THE BROWN BORDER WAS PART OF THE SAME LINE. I HOPE TO SHOW YOU SOME GOOD PROGRESS IN THE NEAR FUTURE! LORI

You did an awesome job, and finding clearance fabric that fit so well is fabulous!
Looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.
I remember back when I used to quilt, it was so soothing to sit with a hoop on my lap and just get lost in the rhythm.
OMW Lori, it's snowing down here again...need any snow up there over the Mighty Mac???? :D

Beth,
We've had light snow flurries today but only have about a foot of snow on the ground.

Thank you for the compliment on my quilt top. I do quilt with a hoop in my lap too and as you said, I find it very soothing. Lori

I like Linda Brannock, too! I don't remember the quilt. I need to get out my book and take another look. I like your fabric choices.
